Kalyan Avvaru, M.Sc., Principal Solutions Architect
Kalyan joins Complexica as Principal Solutions Architect, to lead technical strategy and architecture needs for Complexica's Decision Cloud® platform. Kalyan had been with Complexica as one of the key early technical staff who had engineered, architected and built some of the early Complexica products and onboarded many of Complexica's customers. He has a background in software engineering, public multi-cloud architectures in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, data architectures, secure software engineering, DevSecOps, MLOps and Site Reliability Engineering.
Prior to Complexica, Kalyan was with the defence prime Lockheed Martin as Lead Software Architect for the Royal Australian Airforce next-generation AI and machine-learning enabled, all domain integrated air battle management system. Kalyan also had experience working with other public sector customers in consulting roles at DXC Technologies as a Digital Transformation architect for organisations like the Australian Tax Office, Sydney Airport, and Sydney Water and architected multiple digital transformation projects.
Kalyan embodies customer obsession, always moving backwards from customer objectives and works hard to earn and keep trust. He lives by the principle of continuous learning and always keeps a lookout for the evolving technology landscape and how to best leverage it to add value to customers' missions. He dives deep in every aspect of the solution and ensures the customer vision is realised while staying connected to the details.
