Boehringer Ingelheim to Implement Complexica’s What-if Simulator, Powered by Larry, the Digital Analyst®

ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA, 20 December 2016 – Complexica Pty Ltd, a leading provider of Artificial Intelligence software, announced today that it has signed a contract with Boehringer Ingelheim for the deployment of its What-if Simulator, powered by Larry, the Digital Analyst®.

Larry joins Boehringer Ingelheim’s workforce as a Digital Analyst, tasked with analysing large internal and external datasets to answer complex what-if questions. In particular, Larry will help Boehringer Ingelheim to:

  • Answer complex what-if questions that contain many variables and “moving parts” that impact one another in a probabilistic manner
  • Investigate a variety of assumptions and hypothesis that are difficult to test in the real-world
  • Compare the outcome of various what-if scenarios and analyse the key drivers behind the differences
  • Understand the deterministic and non-deterministic factors present in the operations of the business
