Forecasts your planners can trust, and automated replenishment
- Lower forecast error, including on hard-to-forecast product lines.
- Less stock, fewer stock-outs: better stock turns, DIFOT and service levels.
- Plan together: collaborate with customers and suppliers on forecasts, promotions, pricing and replenishment.
Complexica’s Demand Planner provides an integrated demand planning environment for manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. Our Demand Planner uses AI and advanced forecasting and optimisation techniques to help supply chain staff anticipate customer demand. With the help of our Demand Planner, businesses can plan inventory levels more effectively, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
Rather than using a pre-defined set of rigid models that are based solely on statistical methods, Complexica’s Demand Planner relies on a wide variety of predictive algorithms and techniques, including deep learning, that are tuned to your internal sales data as well as external sources and available overlays to improve accuracy. This moves demand planning & forecasting away from an anecdotal and “gut feel” approach, to a data-driven and market intelligence capability.
From a business process perspective, our Demand Planner considers capacity constraints and material availability to satisfy forecasted demand, while optimising for inventory levels, working capital, asset utilisation, labour & maintenance schedules, as well as buffering for variabilities in lead times and manufacturing processes. Powered by Larry, the Digital Analyst®, our Demand Planner can help you:
- Reduce the forecast error associated with demand planning
- Minimise the risk of lost sales due to stock-outs, as well as write-downs due to inventory obsolescence
- Increase DIFOT and service levels to customers
- Improve stock turns and decrease overall inventory levels
- Readily adapt inventory to sudden changes in downstream demand or upstream supply
- Go beyond traditional MRP by optimising and automating replenishment across time periods, product categories, lines, and individual SKUs using a number of best practice replenishment methodologies
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers on forecasting, promotions, pricing and inventory replenishment through dedicated supplier and customer views
- Understand the impact of changes in business rules and constraints (such as lead times, capacity constraints, required inventory levels, etc.)
- Understand customer sales trends and patterns
- Automate manual processes to eliminate human error and key man risk
- Replace home-grown spreadsheets, which are often opaque and convoluted
Accurate and fast forecasting has never been so crucial to the bottom line as it is now, when product shortages, cost increases and changing customer preferences dictate a faster than ever reaction from demand planners.

Common questions
Can we start with one module?
Yes. Decision Cloud® is fully modularised, so you can start with the module that solves today’s problem (for example pricing, promotions or demand planning) and add others as you grow. Every module runs on the same AI engine and the same data.
How long does implementation take?
It depends on the scope. Every engagement starts with a no-cost workshop, followed by a fixed-price, fixed-time scoping engagement that defines the deployment milestones, cost estimates and business benefits. Deployments are then staged rather than “big bang”, which reduces risk and brings forward the return on investment. See our frequently asked questions for each stage of the engagement model.
Which ERP systems do you integrate with?
Decision Cloud® has a set of standard integration APIs for common ERP systems and platforms, as well as public data sources such as the Australian Bureau of Statistics and the Bureau of Meteorology. The specific interfaces for your systems are defined during the scoping engagement.
